Shares in Sony has outpaced (72%) the Nikkei average of 59%. Nintendo shares have jumped nearly 400%!

Matsushita, maker of Panasonic (52%) watched Nintendo shoot by as customers worldwide still demand the Wii and DS game gear.

Nintendo's market capitalization sits at 6.31 trillion yen between the world's two largest consumer electronics makers – Matsushita's is 6.23 trillion and Sony's is 6.64 trillion.

Both Matsushita and Sony have sales about 8x that of Nintendo.

According to Enterbrain, Nintendo's Wii outsold Sony's PS3 by more than 5:1 in May.
