McDonald’s Mislabels Production Dates

McDonald's in Japan admitted that an employee of a Tokyo franchisee intentionally mislabeled the production date on salads.

Additionally, the same shops may have used expired yogurt.

The operator of the four shops got its franchise agreement canceled, no more Ronald McDonald's for them.

China has been facing questions about its quality control. Now, it's Japan's turn.

From sweets to ground meat Japan has been faced with scandals involving makers using expired ingredients and falsely labeling products.

Same stores sales at McDonald's in Japan have seen a 4.3% rise as a result of new products, refurbished stores and extended hours.

Not any more, perhaps.
