Domestic Violence G0es Both Ways in Japan

In 2005, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare reported that domestic violence in Japan occurred in nearly 40 percent of homes.

Among married couples 26.7% of women reported they had been beaten by their spouse.

The women folk, however, are fighting back…13.8% of men say they had beendomestic-violence.jpg beaten by their wives.

Whoa! And the world is taught that Japanese women are so docile, so submissive. Fat chance of that.

Seriously, a Japanese woman can make a great wife, if she is loved, cared for, and provided for AND the husband, when the time comes is a good dad, too.

Otherwise, when a prospective couple plans their nuptials, the guy had better check to make sure his future partner wasn't in the judo, kendo, aikido or some other martial art club in high school.

What do you think?
