Japan is going to announce a plan to save the climate of Asia, particularly in China and Asia this week at the East Asia Summit.

Fukuda, PM of Japan, says Japan will provide massive loans and aid to reduce emissions.

There will be three pillars -

1. creating a greener society that emphasizes recycling and reducing pollution;

2. promoting biodiversity by preserving nature;

3. promoting education about global warming.

Japan already gives about a half billion dollars of loans and grants to China.

Abe introduced Cool Earth 50, halving the global carbon emissions by 2050.

The Kyoto protocol ends in 2012. No major industrial nation is likely to meet their goals and the United States isn't even trying.

What global warming?
