It was reported on 12 June,2012 that Robot was released to a thunderous response in Japan last month. The Japanese love Rajanikanth’s film and he is known much for his film Muthu. Hence it is no surprise that Robot is welcome with such a great response. Robot is a dubbed version of Tamil movie titled Endhiran .
It was simultaneously released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil to a thunderous collections in India. Directed by Shankar , the movie had Rajanikanth play two roles, one of a scientist and other the Robot that he develops.
Robot was reportedly re-edited to two hours to suit the people there. However, it became a rage in the country, so much so that on popular public demand, the 3 hour version of the film is being screened at 1300 theatres across the country.
Four weeks have gone but it is still going strong. Robot is still competing with mainstream Japanese films. The song Irumbile/Naina Miley has become an anthem and the Japanese are humming to it despite the language divide.

]]>The earthquake of 6.9 magnitude was measured 6.6 kilometers below the seabed of the northern island of Hokkaido n the Pacific at 6:08pm. The earthquake was then followed by a 20 centimeter tsunami after which the local authorities issued an evacuation warning for the coastal residents before it hit the land.
Later a moderately strong earthquake measuring 5.7 hit Tokyo that left the residents on edge. The high speed bullet trains were halted and even the two runways Tokto’s Narita International Airport were closed after the quake.
Till now no abnormalities are reported especially at the Tokai No 2 nuclear power plant that is situated at the northeast of Tokyo. The plant has been shut for maintenance. ]]>In a poll conducted in the US, in which 689 of the mobile users had participated, it was found that 29 percent of the respondents are looking to buy the iPad 3 and surprisingly about 54 percent of that group does not currently own a tablet.
The report also said that 65 percent of those who wanted to buy an iPad said that they can also opt to buy a discounted iPad 2 instead of an iPad 3 at full price. It was also found that 50 percent of the prospective iPad buyers were ready to pay more than $500 for their new tablet.
But if the tablet would go above the price range of $500 then the buyers would go for an older and a cheaper version. This has clearly indicated that it does not matter if the consumers opt for the new iPad against the older iPad, but the excitement around the iPad release is very likely to increase the popularity of the iPad in the tablet market.

Choi is a banker and is the grandson of South Korea’s best Hanbok designer Lee Young Hee. He is also the second son of Lee Jung Woo, who is a popular fashion designer in South Korea.

On February 18, the group had even started off their much awaited Asia tour in Seoul. The tour has been titled as ‘KARASIA’, which will also be touring in China, Honk Kong, Taiwan and Thailand along with five other cities in Japan starting on April 4, 2012.
