Love Confession Services a Hit in Japan

The shy Japanese man (and that’s most of them) who cannot muster up enough courage to tell the girl of his dreams that, well, she is the girl of his dreams can hire someone to do it for him.

There is a service (Onayami Kaiketsu Tanteidan) in Japan that will confess one’s love…for a price, of course – starting at 100,000 ($800).

The service says that about 70% of their clients are men in their 30s who can’t get it out…the confession, that is.

Onayami approaches a clients object of confession under the guise of a survey taker or a customer if the girl is in the service industry. In this way, they can find out whether their client has a snowball’s chance.

Then Onayami leaks in the info that such and such has a thing for the girl being courted.

Onayami researches what the girl likes, and then sets up a time and place for a love confession to take place.

If things go well, Onayami disappears gradually so as to not arouse suspicion.

$800 to arrange for someone to tell a girl she likes her. I’ll set it up for half that price.

Onayami also offers alibis for guys and girls who cheat on their partners…for a price, that is.

Some people will do anything for money. And some will pay for it.
